Death of a Nightingale

a neo-noir tale of romance and the inevitable
My Story
I'm actually a screenwriter and filmmaker, diving into the world of books as a "fresh-off-the-boat", "bright-eyed" hopeful. I love stories and how they can help guide us in good and in bad times. So this jump is one that truly excites me.

After graduating from College, I received a Fulbright Scholarship and rounded off my education at the Savannah College of Art & Design with a Master’s degree. Living in the South and spending a lot of time in Savannah and Atlanta made me fall in love with the peculiar, gothic architecture, history, and mood of the area. It inspired the location for "Death of a Nightingale" and the two sequel books to follow.

I'm a genre-agnostic writer focusing on female-centric stories with a true core. Any of my stories are somewhat based on reality. Even if they involve vampires.
I am very proud to have been a fellow for the SUNDANCE/WIF Finance Lab, a Nicholls Fellowship Semi-Finalist, and that I was named one of 25 Writers to Watch by the International Screenwriters Association.
